General Monthly Meeting: MySQL and PostgreSQL comparison..
PostgreSQL supports:
- Sub select
- Foreign keys
- Stored procedures
- Extendable type system
- All executions are Transaction safe.
MySQL is generally considered faster.
- RPM installation, MUSTset new password as first step. There after you enter via a password challenge.
- You can break in as root on the box.
also --skip privileges.
- We also saw a WebCalendar demo.
