• Humerous references were made to the "We have the way out" MS campaign.
• Mozilla 1.0 release imminent.
• KDE 2.3 released.
• Gnome updates available.
• New Open Office release.
• Codeweaver release Crossover product.

General Monthly Meeting:
"ELX - Everyone's Linux".

Linux as a Windows alternate, and migration from Legacy windows to Linux on the Desktop.

• Elx - Wintype desktop under KDE & GNOME.
• Also showed SAMBA assisting win & Linux sharing of resources.
• ELX comes with lots pre-configured assists for Win users.
• Also showed Ximian Evolution on the GNOME desktop.
