Bylaws

• Chris Halsall gave an intro on the situation with the bylaws and passed a few copies around. Read the Constitution portion aloud.
• A few folks pointed out minor typographical issues which for the sake of simplicity we decided to include.
• The bylaws as they stood were adopted in a casual vote.

Goodies

• Chris Halsall got a bunch of nifty goodies from Red Hat, including some red Red Hat hats which we gave away at the meeting and one shrinkwrapped RH 5.1 cd, which we will donate to the Vic Public Library, with annotations (such as this is where to go to download patches).

Gossip

• After one sad bit of news (Microsoft won their appeal), there was much happy Linux related news shared. I didn't take notes, it's all on http://slashdot.org.
