- Linux can "dual-boot" with other operating systems on different
partitions of the same harddrive. But only one can run at a time.
- When should I run Linux?
- If you're a high-school or post-secondary student interested in or
studing computers.
- ...small business trying to enter the Inter/intranet age without spending
a forture.
- ...anyone doing Internet based work.
- ...anyone doing software development.
- When shouldn't I?
- Currently there aren't many games. If you use your computer
primarily to game, stick with Windows.
- If running your computer without support, and you're not confortable
talking about IRQs, don't run Linux yet.
