[newbie] Back to the club and need help with my WinTV Go setup on Mandrake 9.2 RC2

Good day all,

I used to be a member a year and half ago and I decided to come back to the club because I really want to learn Linux in more depth. So I got Mandrake 9.2 RC2 installed on 1 of my desktop and my laptop. Can't wait to see you all in October next meeting.

Here is my system:

- AMD Athlon 1Ghz
- 512 Mb RAM
- WinTV Go (bt878)

Here is my problem:

I used Mandrake Control Center 2.0 to install my Hauppauge bt 878 selecting it and selecting NTSC for TV Norm and clicke "OK". Next it looks like it is scanning for channels with XawTV and then it close. So When I go open XawTV, it only shows 1 channel. The tv norm is set to PAL and the frequency set to europ-west. There has to be something that I am doing wrong. Thanks for the help
