Surely you jest... the first  SCSI drive I bought was a 1 giger... and
it's still running fine.... I have a collection in assorted sizes. For
general see, SCSI drives really don't have the advantages over IDE that
they once did except the "4 devices" limit....

I see no logical limit on external vs internal.... if you are
interested in a full height 1.6gig (I think that is the size), I could
probably let you have it for a low cost....
