Yes, I think we should have another Newbie get-together soon. Please
keep in mind that they don't always have to be install/tweak fests. I'm
sure there are a number of topics of interest that would generate
valuable discussion.
Ideas I've heard include:
* How to download and install things
* How to take source RPM packages and make them into binary RPM packages
suitable for your system
* How to make .tar.gz packages into RPM packages
* How to enable SCSI emulation so you can use your IDE CD burner
* How to customize your Bourne Shell (bash prompt)
* Basic editing/tricks in Vim
* How to play DVDs on Linux
* How to run Starcraft on Linux
So, that said, anybody who has any suggestions as to meeting ideas or
meeting venues, please post your comments on this list as we are always
open to your opinions.
