Nope, thanks though!  I'm using Debian and it was as easy as pie.  I just 
didn't know that the option existed, I'd always used ssh just for remote 
logins.

That seems to be my greatest problem with Linux, I just don't know what's 'out 
there' and browsing through the oodles of Debian packages is a bit daunting.

Next VLUG meeting I'll try and be there, I'm sure I'll get some good ideas off 
some more experienced users.
