[newbie] Sound card

I have just installed a copy of Mandrake V9, which I might add, was a pleas=
ure to install.  Since my last forray into the Linux world, it has become s=
o much easier to install and it only took me an hour to get the printer wor=
king instead of 3 weeks.
Apart from all that, I can't get my Creative Vibra 16 sound card working on=
 it and I not sure how to go about fixing it.
If anyone has any suggestions for me it would be much appreciated.
