[newbie] Mandrake 8.2 to 9.0

I have upgraded my box today but during the process the driver for my =
winmodem disappeared. ( we don't have high speed phone or cable on =
Saltspring at least not where I live) I have a driver ready to go and =
the instructions that I have say install the rpm with "rpm -i =
hcfpcimodem-2.4.18-6mdk.i685.rpm". I have the cd in the tray ready to go =
and I type the command into the shell but nothing happens. Where am I =
going wrong?=20
