I think it is a great idea to have a "Newbie SIG". It should avoid the annoyance, that Linux experts may feel when answering "newbie" questions. You could even have a senior "Newbie" section, for those who can't remember a command they have used so often in the past! I recently had to sit and think what was the command to remove the data on a floppy!! I live in Duncan and sometimes can't get to Victoria.
