[Discuss] Mint 8 on Dell Inspiron Mini

Hi Everyone,

I ordered a Dell Inspiron Mini netbook off the Dell website and am very 
displeased with the modifications Dell made to the Ubuntu installation. 
It comes preloaded with 8.04.

Has anyone had any success installing Ubuntu 9.10? If 9.10 isn't 
compatible, what about Mint 8?

Here's my netbook's specs:

        * 2 GB RAM
        * 160 GB HD
        * 1.6 Intel Atom processor
        * Native resolution of 1024 x 600
        * Wireless N
        * Built-in Webcam and mic
        * Built-in card reader (SD, XD, SM)
