[Discuss] Debian and Wireless

Hello,

I thought I should mention that I built the
realtek kernel module for a D-LINK WUA1340
USB wireless network adaptor under Debian.

I used the source code at:

http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/rt73-cvs-daily.tar.gz

The module installs fine and the USB adapter
lights up.

I am able to assign an IP address etc. to
the adaptor.

Attempting to do the same on Mandriva 2006
has a few hitches.

On Mandriva the kernel module builds and installs
without complaint. ifconfig and iwconfig hang if invoked.
Other networking continues to work fine.
