A friend in England had RMS to stay for the weekend once. He told me 
"never again", although he wouldn't say why. During the visit my friend 
had been asked to pass on a message to a colleague. He called and said 
colleague's wife answered.

When my friend said he was calling on behalf of RMS, her eloquent reply 
was "Oh God!"
