I'm not overly keen on gOS. I don't really know much about it to be honest.
The hardware seems to be moving in the right direction though.

The concept of a web application centric, UMPC with tablet features is nice
though. I would be more motivated to buy one if it had a low-power, book
reading mode (like the OLPC) and did away with the hard drive in favour of a
faster booting, lighter flash-based drive. Oh, and had a display resolution
of at least 1024 (so many sites/apps become tedious to use at 800).

Regardless of what the specs of the device are, I would probably want to
physically see and touch it before buying it and to get around the hype of
the web fronts. Too much of an unknown to spend approx. $500 on.
