Wrote my first program in FORTRAN at high school in 1968. Since then
I've written in several assemblers (and have written an assembler
myself, in python and C, for use in my teaching at Camosun), COBOL,
BASIC, LISP, B, C, PL/1, various functional languages including ML,
Miranda and Gofer, C++, python and others I've probably forgotten.

Wrote a command shell in C for the Multics OS c. 1983.

C++, but not seriously for a decade - I really dislike the language. And
I am, as I tell my students, a Java-free zone.

I have however used the OOP features of python fairly extensively.

See above.

I guess the answer to this is no, as I've written programs almost
exclusively on linux for about 15 years...:-)

Can I say "I might do so..." my time, especially evenings, is at a premium.

No.

As I rarely attend now...this question is a bit like "have you stopped
beating your wife?"

I'd also be interested in the stats. Interesting to find out what kind
of profile this list has.
