[Discuss] cron question

I am just running the crontab -e command (logged in as me, no sudo) to
schedule the cron job. My understanding is that this will default to
running as me. And since I can successfully run the
"/usr/bin/gnome-screensaver-command --lock" command, I think believe
the cron job is running under the same user as the screensaver.
Setting the DISPLAY environment variable did not work.
