I'm assuming, without calling my buddy, that the decision to use OpenBSD was
simply it's renowned overall security (hardening), small footprint and excellent
firewall. Another reason, that I'm aware of, was the ability to reduce down times
with Windows updates (only one update needed, rather than everyone having to do it)
and any workstation that had Windows issues could be back up in a matter of a
few seconds.

Sure have... along with a number of others... Win4Lin, Cedega, Parallels, etc
Ask Joan about the demo I put on at BB&C a few years ago where I
showed off most if not all of these VM's.

Not off the top of my head but I'm sure there must be something
online if I did some searching.
