VMware server hides all its Linux system requirements into the compiled
modules. So you use a kernel version that didn't exist previously, update
the modules.
You can either find the distribution package and hope someone has already
applied the update or do it manually.
Download http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update115.tar.gz
Unpack and run, it will patch any outdated VMware and build the modules.
FIRST ensure that you have the kernel headers for the version of the kernel
that you are running and you have the gcc compiler installed.
uname -a
How to check/install for your preferred distribution, Sorry I build my own
kernels so I always have the source ready and waiting.
