Jeremy, Ron and Chris,

Based on what you've told me, my first choice ... Virtualbox ... looks
to be where I will end up. Wine has some distinct advantages, but
sometimes our monolithic computing culture forces a compromise we don't
like. In spite of my desire to remain Windows free, I know there have
been times I simply could not get around needing to boot up the green
and blue ugly. If you own a ZenV Plus that you like to keep videos of
the kids on, you'll know what I mean.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll post here to let everyone know how
it went.
