Hi Patrick!

you talked about an expert on presentations giving one on making a
presentation. I'm no_ expert_ on such, but I did make one every Sunday
for over 35 years. It's called a Sermon <s> since I'm a retired UC
minister. So I could give some sort of a talk about this kind of thing;
how to prepare, what to do if stage fright strikes, and such. Another
important aspect of giving any presentation is knowledge of, and
enthusiasm for, your subject. Another point: don't be afraid of
questions, They can save your neck. By the time you have listened
carefully to the question, answering it to the best of your ability,
you probably will have either returned to the track you were on, or
found a better one, for your presentation. The more you can carry on
without letting on you made a mistake the closer you are to being an EXPERT!

old railfans never die; they just lose track!
Gordon.
