[Discuss] Gmail IMAP slow?

I don't use gmail, but I do use imap.

What volume of mail do you have in your Inbox?  I think having smaller
folder sizes helps speed it up.

I have my recent mail in
INBOX
then older stuff is in subfolders
INBOX/2006
INBOX/2005
etc.

I do the same with my VLUG folder.
