That's what I mean when I say no-fix bug. VGA mode, nosplash
noacpi,
alternate install disk, text install then configure xorg.conf ... they
all ended in brick mode. Frustrating to say the least. Granted, someone
with greater knowledge than myself would probably be able to navigate
their way into a working system eventually, but considering the effort I
put into it, I am guessing we are talking about someone who knew the
system and/or Linux pretty damn well. I simply don't stand a chance.
I drive a bus. I only do comp-sci as a hobby. :-)
