[Discuss] Installing software not in repositories -- Kubuntu 7.04

Hi Murray,

Out of the box, Ubuntu does not look in 3rd party repositories for updates.  
You can increase the repositories here:

System -> Administration -> Software Sources

For your question about "conversation with su failed" yesterday, make
sure your new users are in /etc/sudoers.  Plain Ubuntu uses sudo, I
guess kubuntu does the same.
