[Discuss] JPilot 0.99.8

When I upgraded to Mandriva 2007, JPilot was "upgraded" to version 
0.99.8 (I think it was from 0.99.7).  Now, whenever I make a change in a 
record, when I click on "Apply Changes", JPilot quits and the record I 
was working on is deleted completely. I.e. when I open JPilot, all the 
information for that particular record has disappeared.

I have tried to reinstall the older version from my old Mandriva DVD, 
but it complains about all kinds of stuff missing.  I have tried to 
install the latest version (0.99.9) from jpilot.org without success.

If I look at the page for reporting bugs and trying to find known 
issues, I have not been able to find this one, but then there are so 
many pages that it is a daunting exercise to try to find them!

This problem occurs on two different computers.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a fix?
