You watch CSI and talk about how Battlestar sucks? :p

A CS friend of mine and I just talked about Numb3rs today over lunch and
how much we have a love/hate relationship with that show (love the fact
that "real" academic topics like complexity theory come up in the show,
but hate the fact that the hero of the show is a glorified statistician
who always has a perfect solution for any problem).

I'm almost ashamed (as a self-proclaimed geek) to admit that I've never
watched a single episode of Babylon 5.

Who hasn't on this list? (well, actually I've never watched any of the
episodes of Enterprise, but the original series, TNG, DS9 and most of
Voyager I've seen).

Hmm, not sure if it'd be your cup of tea or not (particularly if you're
not a fan of "cliffhanger-style" shows like Lost), but both myself and
most of my friends in the department that I've talked to are avid fans
of the show "Heroes".

Unfortunately that rules out about 90% of the stuff on TV nowadays. :(
