But that's my point, maybe I am just working from a different paradigm, 
but I can't say that anything you just described sounds like something 
I'd do in an e-mail (or at least not to the degree that requires 
anything over basic cut, copy, and paste).  While editing code, working 
on a paper, etc, sure, but not in an e-mail.
