I am told by a colleague with a PhD in paleontology that Jurassic Park 
is crap and certainly his computer 'expertise' in that book was clearly 
secondhand (at least) and poorly understood.

As for his counterblast against Climate Change (State of Fear?) that was 
so clearly biased and bigoted that I gave up about 10 pages in.

And his time travel stuff in whatever-that-one-was-called was clearly 
gibberish.

Not impressed. He should have stopped after The Andromeda Strain...
