[Discuss] Grub

Hi 
I need some help with an error msg "Grub disk error"


Some background I am installing SME sever 7.1 www.contribs.org (I believe a
redhat kernal) in a p4 box two brand new ide maxtor 300gig drives set on
primary ide channel  1 jumpered master I jumpered slave . Software installs
completely however on intial reboot I get the error msg stage 1 "grub disk
error" How do I go about resolving this problem?
