Fantastic! The differences and more so the similarities of where we
are today are .

I don't know if it is still the case, but I recall Mac OS X GUI
controller still being single threaded resulting in UI lockups when
holding does a menu down scenario.

That emulator for Apple's Lisa computer article also reminds me of
where NeXTSTEP seems to have been in the mid-90s (compared to today),
as shown by Steve Job's NeXTSTEP Release 3 Demo
