yes. anything is possible; it's not IF your HD goes, it's WHEN. But the 
computer is not that old; it may even be under warranty! But it's worth 
checking the drive for all that.
Thanks for the suggestion. BTW do you have that disk? If not, where does one 
get it? Does it run under Linux or Windows? Inquiring minds want to know. .
