[Discuss] Audio/Video with Kubuntu

I have Kubuntu running on three computers, and the behaviour for various audio/video things behaves differently on each.

I generally use Firefox for the browser, but sometimes Konqueror. I have  Flash installed. 

I use the following website for checking things out:

I pick one of the cards to preview.
Computer 1:  both sound and animation work
Computer 2:  neither sound nor visual work (area where card appears is blank)
Computer 3: card animation works, but sound does not.

Sound is working for other things on all computers for some things.

"You Tube" works on Computers 1 & 2, but I don't think that it does so on Computer 3 (at least anything I have tried, it just shows that it is loading, but never gets to the point of having anything to view)".

I suspect that I am missing something different on each of the computers, but I don't know what it could be.

I have loaded all the codecs I could find in the multibuntu repository.
