[Discuss] Results from VLUG's AGM

OK. I am afraid that I launched a can of worms with my call for more
members in VLUG.

Leds me clarify: I called for more subscribers to join VLUG and argued
that they should be paid-up members.

This was not so much for the inflow of dollars than for the development
among us all of a sense of belonging, of sharing a feeling  of
togetherness and of developing also a proactive mood, where participants
would propose ideas for common activities, for the promotion of Linux,
for outreach, for fun together that would go beyond Boston Pizza, etc.

And having a few more dollars in the kitty would allow us to be a littel
more ambitious and enterprising. 

We could also link more intensely with other LUGs.

Et cetera.

Just a few ideas.
