Hi Chris,
I do have a Dell laptop with spoiled GPU, hence no display. In my
case I've to replace the motherboard to get it
fixed. In your case, you need to replace the LCD alone. You can look at
Ebay for old LCDs.
I remotely connect to my laptop and use it. I also have festival
installed in it, and a custom script that will run what ever
command I type and read aloud the output. And the laptop is configured
with static IP, so I can connect to it remotely.
You can remove your hard disk and mount it in some other machine and
change the network settings to static IP.
