On both the highway to the ferries and the one over the Malahat, I
have seen billboards for opensourcelife.net

(I don't think the billboard really works because I didn't understand
what it was about, and it took my about six times seeing it before I
remembered it enough to look it up -- and I care about open source.)

The site is put together by Victorian's Serena Rockey and Darren Webb.

http://www.opensourcelife.net/about.htm is an interesting tail, but is
pretty long on wind before letting me know what the site is about:
"OpenSourceLife.net is a place where people can Ask a question. Answer
a question. Earn money! with their own Google AdSense account."

I love to see local people doing interesting things particularly when
they are seem to be trying to connect with local people, but my
problem reading it is that I still don't have a clue what is open
source about the life?

Anyone have a scoop? Or their own take?
