[Discuss] Question

nvu is pretty good. I set my GF up with it when she had to edit some content. Personally I'd say it is easier than dreamweaver (I detest dw.. I had to spend waay too much time trying to figure out where it goofed up a CSS file and have viewed various issues caused by it).

Of course my fave web editor is VIM. I've tried bluefish and a few others.. but at this point I prefer firefox and VIM. I do not recommend VIM to Alan.

I too have to contest the legitimacy of posting questions on proprietary software on this list. This is the LINUX users group, which loosely covers all things *NIX like and open source software in general .

Suggestions for legitimizing a conversation about dreamweaver:
-issues with getting it running on wine
-open source substitutes (nvu has been suggested.. you should check it out)

Otherwise your web questions would probably be better received by:
http://www.weav.bc.ca/modules.php?name=Forums

Although if you are looking to have someone help you get a pirated version of DW then that is probably the wrong location as well.
