Check the intel site for a driver. I know I had to compile a module for
a Dell cerc SATA raid card a few years ago so it would work on FC2. If
you can't find a driver for that intel raid on the intel site then
perhaps try compiling a newer kernel for the system or try a more recent
version of Fedora or CentOS. Also, a small piece of tape over the piezo
buzzer on the raid card will greatly reduce it's volume temporarily
while you work out the issues.
