Who cares if the guy wrote the program? I would not let anyone you didn't
know intimately into your computer... and even then I would still think about it ;)

In order for you to receive some help why not help us by providing some actual
useful information? Such as... What is the name of the Backgammon program
you are trying to install? Is this game an actual Linux program? When you stick
the disc into your CDROM drive what sort of files are there? Any help files?
