[Discuss] Backup DVD

Hello all,

I've got some DVDs that form a video series that I need to backup.
Each disc has two different videos on it, with a menu to access. It
is a full dual layer disc... so I can't just do a normal copy onto a
normal DVD. I have to resize it.

I have tried both dvdshrink for linux and dvd9to5.pl and both have had
50% success. They both created a nice quality resized DVD... but with
only one of the two videos on it.

My question:
Is there a tool for linux that will get both of the videos on the
disk, and still give me a choice between the two by way of a menu or
something? Or, even, rip each video separately, so that I can put
each on one normal 4.7GB disc?

I know that I could go through all the steps listed here:
http://kavlon.org/index.php/dvdbackup

I could also get DVD Shrink for windows, but I don't have a DVD
reader/burner in my windows machine... and I don't wanna do that
unless I have to.

I'm looking for a simpler approach.

Any thoughts?

  - Clint
