Andrew Tanenbaum (1995) is quoted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sneakernet)
on this subject as follows: "Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station
wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway." Apparently, variations on
this saying go back a long way, and I guess to modernize the saying you
would replace "station wagon" by SUV and "tapes" by USB hard drives.
