[Discuss] "Getting Cute with the GPL"

FYI, as a creator of GPL-licensed ("v2 or later") software, I've been 
looking forward to GPLv3 for awhile, and from where I stand the 
current version looks quite good, and is a significant improvement 
over previous versions.

(Moreover, with v3, the LGPL is expressly just a GPL delta, rather 
than a separate large document, which is nice.  It is quite short, 
stating that it is equivalent to the GPL, which is an external 
reference, plus a few extra grants.)

I plan to relicense my software as GPLv3-or-later as soon as the 
final version is out.
