[Discuss] Request for Computers for Find A Computer A Home

Hello VLUG members: you may or may not remember me - I gave a talk at the August
meeting concerning the Find A Computer A Home charity, who I volunteer for. We
donate computers to disadvantaged citizens of Greater Victoria.

Normally, we never seem to have any problems acquiring donated computers, but
during the past two weeks we have actually run out! It is not a big deal as we
only have 2 clients awaiting computers at the moment. But that could change at
any time.

So we are in urgent need of a few computer boxes only - that is boxes with
working motherboards and CPU's - we have lots of parts and monitors also so
don't need anything other than computers (no room to store anything else anyways!). 

We prefer machines >= P300, as anything less is a bit painful. If you, your
friends or your place of employment is/are considering upgrades and would like
to recycle your older computers please let me know. Your help would be
appreciated. We do a free pickup service in the Greater Victoria area! Thanks.
