I think you are partially misled. It is not only the case. It is a
quiet power supply. No matter how error-prone the case is if the
power supply is noisy the. 

But  I agree, some cases are more quiet than others. Zalman makes one

In my experience the source of noise in a typical PC is:

* CPU fan
* Power supply fans
* Video card fans
* Hard disks (the newer ones are way quieter than the old ones).
