[Discuss] Ubuntu 6.06 release party in Victoria

Did you install ubuntu or kubuntu?
 
I'm into amateur radio and with a kubuntu install, I couldn't get a lot of
the amateur stuff to install.  A real annoyance.   Did a ubuntu install and
all is well.

What do you mean by "customize the distro"?  Putting speed holes in
the side with a pick axe?  Colourizing ls?
 
It sounds like an error message from your monitor, when you set the
resolution to high.
