Thanks for the invitation, Corey. I may attend.

Now I have a question.é I am new to Ubuntu. I just installed on the side
of my Mandriva December 2006, Fedora Core5 and Kubuntu 5

In the distant past, I had already tried to run three distros in
parallel and found that the 3home of Mdk 9.0 was not good for Fedora
Core 2 or Ubuntu 1 at the time.

I have now created separate /home partitions for Fedora Core 5 and
Ubuntu 5.

Most of my useful data are in aseparate partitions, which can be mounted
on any distro separately. However, this does not apply to my mailer
(evolution 2.4) my several web browsers, multimedia programs etc..whose
user-specifics are on my Mandriva /home.

The question is: would it be that, by chance,m the /home arrangements of
Fedora core 5 and Ubuntu have been ,made inter-compatible with Mandriva
and vice versa?

If not, how could I arrange my files so that I can share my current
mailer, web browsers and other programs for the same user between my
three distros, without requiring a full reconstruction of those software
packages for separate /home partitions?

Thanks and best regards

Yves Bajard
