[Discuss] Freenet Victoria PPP using wvdial?

Anyone out there had success connecting to Freenet Victoria using 
wvdial? I am helping someone use that PPP service with a modem and 
wvdial. Am able to connect successfully using kppp but not wvdial. Have 
run wvdialconf and all, but Freenet seems to have a chat line that 
requires a couple of extra carriage returns to respond with terminal 
type etc.

Have also used wvdial successfully on same machine and modem to Telus 
and Uniserve PPP dialup lines so problem is definetely not Linux, pppd 
or the modem.

Any ideas appreciated.
