dear list,
I am facing very critical net problem and seeking some urgent suggestion.
I have 2 broadband connections one from bsnl and another from allience.
there is a Linksys RV042 router cum hub for load balancing. so that if one
connection goes off the router automatically take the connection from
another.
I have set the BSNL modem to dial automatically, so I don't need any lan card
to dial the bsnl.
but the alliance is actually 24online connection and I need a lan card to dial
the alliance. the machine which dial the alliance has two lan cards. one is
used to dial the alliance and other is used to feed the alliance connection
to the rv042 router. BUT the machine which is dialling the alliance and
bypassing the alliance to the router is simply becomes an modem. that machine
can't access the local network resources as well as no machine in the lan can
access the resources of that machine.
How can I fix the problem using a linux server, so that the server can dial
alliance, bypass it to the router and users can access the apache, samba of
this server too ?
could any one kindly suggest some thing ?
