[Discuss] Wireless routers

I just picked up a linksys wrt54g from compusmart (it was on special) 
and I think I  have a dud.

So, once bitten, twice shy (and seeing some of the net info about the 
latest version of hte linksys) I thnk I'm trading it in for something 
that works, even if it is more pricey.

Does anyone here have any experience good/bad with the 3COM 
OfficeConnect box or the D-LINK ones? (Although I've read some poor 
reviews of the latter too).

Preferable recent experience, so that it might refer to the same model 
(the linksys used to run linux, as of v5 - alas, what I got - it has 
changed and apparently not for the better)
