[Discuss] DNS problems

Hello all,

I've reached the limit on what I know and can do with this
problem, so I am asking for some help here.

At my registrar, I have updated the DNS settings so that the
primary DNS is set to a working name server that responds to queries.
I have tested that the name server in question does indeed have the
correct information and responds with it as such.
The problem is that when I query any other DNS, the response
is that there is no SOA/name servers. I can only surmise that there
is some sort of configuration problem with the main DNS.

My goal is to move all my domains (nearly two dozen) to my
home. My home connection is a "server" connection package so any port
filtering is now in my control. My firewall is properly configured to
allow domain queries to pass through and the server on the inside of
the firewall responds properly. The web server on the inside of the
firewall also responds and works properly (although I can not test
the vhosts configuration until DNS works). So currently the problem
is with DNS at the registrar.

         Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,
